Pool Covers

Your swimming pool is aqua, the water is calm and still and the atmosphere is perfect. Overnight, the winds pick up. The next morning, your pool is an unrecognizable pond full of leaves, twigs, and debris from last night’s winds. If you only had bought a pool cover instead of that inflatable floating bar. But hey -- it's never too late to cover your pool.

Isothermic/Foam Covers

The isothermal pool cover is designed for use at any time of the year, winter or summer, thanks to its coating of polyester, it can count on important advantages such as durability and resistance to decomposition. This together with its easy installation and ease of use makes the Isothermal the most complete on the market. A notable energy saving is on of the principle advantages which the Isothermal Pool Cover brings to both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Thanks to its efficient thermal barrier, water evaporation, and as result, water-cooling, is avoided, and as a result, it is not necessary to top up the temperature in the pool on a daily basis, thus saving considerable energy costs. In the case of indoor pools the resulting lack of evaporation reduces the use of dehumidifiers and air conditioners, and in turn the costs and expenses associated with running these installations, and their duration. The Isothermal Pool Cover helps maintain the interior structure of the building, reducing metal corrosion, humidity in false ceilings etc. Using the Isothermal Pool Cover brings with it a series of positive consequences in respect to the environment and the consumption of ecologically sustainable resources. Depending on the size of the Isothermal Pool Cover and the needs of each user, there is the option of an automatic or manual roller-storage facility. In either case both sets of equipment are easy to use and operate, durable, and economical.

The Isothermal Pool Cover installation system is comprised of: • Reducing watertight motors IP-54 with automatic breaks. A push-button operated instrument panel. A remote control can also be used and is easily operated by one person. All the electrical components are designed and assembled for use at 24Vcc according to the standards. • The isothermal material consists of three layers for better handling, greater durability and more effective thermal isolation, 0.038W/mk according to the standard ASTM C0177. Lower Layer: Polythene film with pyramidal printing which protects the foam from absorbing water, <0.8% of the volume according to the standard DIN53428, from the chemical agents in the water, easing its movement. Said film is impervious to vapour <10 ng/pa.s per m2 according to the standard 1501663 so increasing the isothermal capacity of the whole. Middle Layer: Polyester foam with sealed cells which impede not only the absorption of water but also thermal transfer and is available in a density of 5-7 mm or 10-12 mm, advisable for thermal changes of +30°. Top Layer: Polyester fabric 1100dtex covered on both sides with high quality polythene, which ages well in UV rays according to standard DIN53387. With a stability <0.5% according to the standard DIN553377, resistance to tearing both of the weft and warp of 500N according to the standard DIN53363 and a resistance to breaking both of the weft and warp of 2000N/50mm according to the standard DIN53354. Both in its dimensional stability and its resistance to tearing, it is superior to the existing fabrics on the market.
